In time, she comes to love her new home. On the final page, Little Fish's story has come full circle. She introduces herself to a young newcomer, hoping to befriend her, just as an older fish once befriended a lonely and frightened Little Fish. Children face the challenges of being in new environments and meeting new friends all the way into adulthood. The journey of Little Fish will be enjoyed by children while helping them build social confidence.
